SUMMARY
The Seasonal Shipping Associate is responsible for packaging and fulfilling orders, ensuring accurate shipment of product, and meeting established order turnaround times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Fulfillment (100% of the job)
● Picks, packages, and prints labels for daily order fulfillment
● Verifies and enters shipping data in POS system
● Prioritizes orders as needed within daily fulfillment schedule
● Inspects Items for quality and reports on defects during the shipping process
● Initiates communication with other teams to report on inventory levels, special orders, etc.
● Acts as backup for warehouse tasks, working independently where needed
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
● Strong attention to detail
● Skilled at working in a digital environment
● Able to navigate basic functions of ecommerce POS system
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
● Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen frequently
● Ability to perform basic math and counting
● Ability to read and respond due to nature of the work on a frequent basis
● Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
● Ability to stand at a desk workstation frequently
● Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, push, pull, and carry items frequently
● Ability to use hands and fingers and to reach for and handle objects to perform tasks frequently
● Lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally
● Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
EQUIPMENT USED
● This role may require you to operate forklifts, carts, dollies and pallet jacks occasionally.
● This role routinely uses basic hand tools and other equipment such as: screwdrivers, auto tape dispensers,
and auto strapping devices.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & TRAVEL
● The employee is primarily exposed to a normal office environment and an operations facility, with varying
levels of noise.
● The employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear
plugs, or steel-toed shoes.
Salary : $17
