Job Description
- Responsible for machine set-up both manual and computer driven machines.
- Maintain quality, production and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot problems and make appropriate adjustments from mechanical failures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
Review production schedules and related information and confer with Supervisor to determine material requirements, identify overdue orders and track both.
- Monitor status of all past due orders
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
Enter/scan data into required system(s).
- Compile and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
