Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Leader for PaintSRQ to lead and coordinate activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting interiors and exteriors with years of experience. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of workers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards while providing the best experience for the customer and creating the best experience for the team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the crew on construction sites. While actively assisting and painting.
- Maintain and restore existing structures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and lead employees on your team to build an effective team that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Train and mentor crew members in best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all materials are available for the team and manage inventory effectively.
- Communicate with project managers regarding progress, challenges, and timelines.
- Communicate with clients to ensure they are fully aware of timeliness, scope of work, and any questions they may have.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction site management or as a painter with diverse skills.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, including commercial all aspects painting and drywall work.
- Proficiency in trim carpentry with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in construction projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and project stakeholders.
