We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator / Cabinet Parts Cutter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC machinery to produce precise cabinet components and parts, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and blueprint reading will be essential to efficiently fabricate parts that meet specifications. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC to produce cabinet parts with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration to optimize performance and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment; assist in packaging finished products for shipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Cut face frame parts and build face frames
- Build misc. cabinet parts
- Run moldings required for job if needed, apply moldings
- Check in doors for each job, drill for hinges
- Fit inset doors to openings
- Build Cabinets
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup
- Experience working with software such as v carve pro or similar design tools is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
