Cabinet IQ of West Chester & The Main Line, PA
About Cabinet IQ – West Chester & The Main Line
Cabinet IQ of West Chester & The Main Line proudly serves homeowners across Chester County and
the Main Line with premium kitchen & bath cabinetry and countertop design, sales, and installation. We
pair a customer-first, premium white-glove experience with modern design tools and proven
processes—delivering 5-Star results from first consult to final walkthrough. Every project reflects our
core values: integrity, craftsmanship, and service.
Timeline: The role will begin October 2025, with formal training in Austin, TX, alongside the Cabinet
IQ President & Owner scheduled for mid-October. You’ll help us build our pre-sale pipeline now and
scale toward a Spring 2026 showroom opening.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the President & Owner, the Lead Sales & Kitchen Designer owns the full client
journey—consultation, measurement, design, proposal, and close—while setting the standard for
design excellence and 5-Star service. You’ll meet clients in-home and in our showroom (and virtually as
needed), translate vision into precise, functional designs, and guide clients through selections and
purchasing with clarity and confidence. You’ll also help shape our local sales playbook, mentor junior
team members as we grow, and partner closely with operations to ensure flawless ordering and install
handoffs.
What You’ll Do
- Own the pipeline: Proactively pursue new business, qualify inbound leads, and manage opportunities
to close.
- Lead consultations & measures: Conduct in-home/site visits; capture accurate dimensions, layout
constraints, and client goals.
- Design with precision: Create functional, on-budget, and aesthetically aligned designs; iterate quickly
based on client feedback.
- Present & close: Build clear proposals, set expectations on scope/timeline, and guide clients to
confident decisions.
- Order with accuracy: Create 100% accurate cabinet/countertop orders; prepare clean handoffs to
operations/installation.
- Communicate proactively: Provide responsive, transparent updates; resolve questions and change
orders promptly.
- CRM discipline: Log activities, notes, and next steps; maintain a reliable forecast.
- Cross-functional partner: Collaborate with vendors, installers, and project ops; support punch-list
resolution and final walkthroughs.
- Raise the bar: Maintain showroom standards, samples, and visual merchandising; contribute to
playbooks, SOPs, and best practices.
- Be a brand steward: Champion our 5-Star, white-glove experience and request reviews/referrals after
successful projects.
What You’ll Bring
- 3 years in kitchen/bath design sales (cabinetry/countertops highly preferred).
- Strong proficiency with 2020 Design (Compusoft/2020) or similar (ProKitchen, Chief Architect, etc.).
- Excellent spatial/design judgment, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator—able to educate clients, simplify decisions, and close.
- Tech-savvy with CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and basic Office/Google tools.
- Reliable transportation for local travel; ability to lift/move samples (up to ~25–40 lbs).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of local install practices, measurement standards, and field constraints.
- Experience coordinating with fabricators/installers and reading construction plans.
- Familiarity with cabinet lines, lead times, and order portals.
How We Measure Success

→ General Manager for the right person)
Schedule
- Full-time; weekday showroom hours with occasional evenings/Saturdays for client needs and events.
Local travel within Chester County & the Main Line.
- Start Date: October 2025 (with training in Austin, TX, mid-October alongside the President & Owner).
