What are the responsibilities and job description for the Franchise Onboarding Coordinator position at Cabinet IQ?
About Cabinet IQ
Cabinet IQ is not your average cabinet company—we’re a fast-growing, technology-driven franchise system on a mission to transform the home remodeling industry. Headquartered in Austin, TX, we deliver a 6-star experience that homeowners love and franchisees are proud to execute.
As we expand across the country, we’re looking for a Franchise Onboarding Specialist who thrives in training, coaching, and empowering entrepreneurs. This role is all about setting our franchise partners up for success from day one—and shaping the next generation of Cabinet IQ leaders.
The Role
As our Franchise Onboarding Specialist, you’ll design and deliver world-class training and onboarding experiences for new franchise owners and their teams. You’ll blend operational excellence with people development, ensuring every new location opens with confidence, clarity, and a culture of excellence.
You’ll be the go-to guide who helps franchisees not just learn the playbook, but embrace it—making sure they feel supported, prepared, and inspired to win.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Onboarding Programs – Own the structured one-week-a-month training sessions virtually to give franchisees hands-on learning they’ll actually use.
- Build Training Resources – Create clear, engaging, and practical tools, manuals, and modules that help franchise owners and their teams hit the ground running.
- Coach and Support – Serve as the trusted point of contact for new franchisees during their ramp-up, answering questions and helping them overcome early challenges.
- Drive Continuous Improvement – Collect feedback, track results, and refine the program so every new class is stronger than the last.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with leadership, marketing, sales, and operations to make sure training aligns with the Cabinet IQ brand promise.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of proven experience in training, onboarding, or program development—ideally in franchising, home services, or a customer-facing industry.
- A natural communicator who can make complex concepts simple and engaging.
- Strong organizational skills—you can juggle multiple trainings, schedules, and priorities without breaking a sweat.
- Comfortable with both live facilitation and digital learning tools.
- Passionate about teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Make an Impact – Your work directly shapes the success of new entrepreneurs and the growth of our national brand.
- Flexibility & Balance – Hybrid role with the best of both worlds: in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.
- Growth Environment – Be part of a high-energy, entrepreneurial team where your ideas matter and innovation is celebrated.
- Competitive Pay & Benefits – Including health, dental, and vision coverage.
