POSTED ON 8/2/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/30/2026

Job Summary

Cabinet Genies Pro is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Cabinetry Sales & Design Coordinator to support our new cabinet showroom.

This role is a combination of showroom sales, customer service, design intake, cabinet quoting, order coordination, payment processing, and showroom administration. The right candidate should have a background in cabinetry, construction, remodeling, kitchen and bath, or home improvement and must be comfortable working directly with customers.

This person will greet customers, collect project information, review cabinet requests, assist with cabinet selections, coordinate design requests with the design team, present quotes or designs to customers, process approved orders, collect payments, and help coordinate customer pickup or delivery.

This is not a design-only role and it is not a receptionist-only role. We are looking for someone who can communicate professionally with customers, understand cabinet-related details, stay organized, follow up consistently, and help keep the showroom running smoothly every day.

Key Responsibilities

The Cabinetry Sales & Design Coordinator will:

  • Open and close the showroom each business day.
  • Greet walk-in customers and provide a professional showroom experience.
  • Answer customer questions and guide them through the cabinet purchase process.
  • Collect customer information, project details, measurements, cabinet lists, plans, photos, inspiration images, and design requests.
  • Assist customers who already have a cabinet list and want to purchase cabinets.
  • Assist customers who need design help by collecting the required information and submitting it to the design team.
  • Present completed designs, quotes, and cabinet options to customers.
  • Help customers review cabinet selections, finishes, door styles, accessories, and basic layout information.
  • Prepare cabinet quotes using manufacturer portals and product information.
  • Prepare customer orders for management review before final purchase.
  • Process approved cabinet orders after review and customer approval.
  • Collect payments, send payment links, or process customer payment information through the appropriate system.
  • Track leads, customer requests, quotes, orders, payments, pickups, deliveries, and follow-ups in Shopify.
  • Follow up with customers regarding missing information, quote status, approvals, payment, order updates, pickup, delivery, and next steps.
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery information with customers and the warehouse/logistics team.
  • Keep customer files, order details, quotes, notes, and project information organized.
  • Help maintain showroom cleanliness, sample organization, product displays, catalogs, and customer-facing materials.
  • Pull, organize, and return samples for customer appointments when needed.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform general administrative duties needed to keep the showroom operating smoothly.

Required Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • 2 years of experience in cabinetry, construction, remodeling, kitchen and bath, home improvement, building materials, showroom sales, or a closely related field.
  • Working knowledge of cabinets or construction-related products.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a sales, showroom, service, or project coordination role.
  • Ability to collect detailed customer information and organize it clearly for quoting, design, ordering, and follow-up.
  • Ability to understand basic measurements, layouts, cabinet lists, plans, or customer-provided project information.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing customer information, cabinet selections, quantities, finishes, and order details.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple customer requests, quotes, and orders at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable following up with customers by phone, email, or in person.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, Shopify, manufacturer portals, CRM/order systems, and online tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a showroom environment.
  • Ability to open and close the showroom reliably each business day.
  • Reliable daily attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong candidates may also have:

  • Cabinet showroom experience.
  • Experience with cabinet quoting or cabinet ordering.
  • Experience using manufacturer portals to create quotes or prepare orders.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce/order management systems.
  • Experience in kitchen and bath, remodeling, countertops, flooring, closets, millwork, hardware, or building materials.
  • Experience coordinating customer pickup, delivery, or logistics information.
  • Experience supporting a designer, salesperson, estimator, project manager, or showroom team.
  • Familiarity with cabinet layouts, cabinet terminology, fillers, panels, moldings, accessories, and finishes.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
