The Role:
As an agent with the Cabell Childress Group at Long & Foster Midtown, you’ll generate, manage,
and convert leads—both your own and those provided by the team. With hands-on coaching and
dedicated administrative support, you’ll be able to focus on what matters most: building
relationships and closing deals.
This role requires a self-starter with strong people skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to
delivering an exceptional client experience.
Flexible hours include evenings and weekends.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
● Generate leads through a variety of marketing channels
● Follow up promptly and effectively using our CRM systems
● Schedule and conduct meetings with buyers and sellers
● Show homes and host open houses
● Guide clients through the full transaction process—from offer to close
● Attend team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions
The Day to Day:
● Lead Generation - Marketing yourself and the Cabell Childress group through a wide variety
of channels
● Lead Follow Up - Follow up with leads as quickly as possible, ensuring an excellent client
experience with an opportunity to convert to a sale, including using our lead generation
and client management database
● Schedule Meetings with Potential Clients- Create opportunities to meet with both buyers
and sellers in order to convert their business
● Show Houses- Take buyers to view houses and be present at open houses for sellers on
weekends
● Guide Clients Through the Transaction - When a client is ready to offer or list, guide them
through the process from beginning to end–writing contracts, negotiating on their behalf,
and doing final walkthroughs; ensure an excellent client experience throughout the
process and find opportunities for future referrals
● Team Meetings- Meet with the whole team and one-on-one with the sales manager to
review progress, discuss strategies, and share successes

Minimum Qualifications:
● VA Real Estate License (or willingness to get one quickly)
● Strong written and oral communication skills
● Loves meeting people, networking and talking on the phone
● Builds trust quickly
● Experience succeeding in the details, especially in contracts
● Technologically proficient
