Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The Wellness Specialist is responsible for providing fitness, wellness, and nutritional support to assist customers in meeting their needs and fitness goals under the supervision of the designated Wellness Manager. The Wellness Specialist must approach each customer with an unbiased, open-minded approach, and maintain confidentiality. This position also assists with the development, advancement, and evaluation of the department and related programs. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Provide orientation and health assessments for program participants and evaluate and supervise programs. Create audience-focused written and verbal communication in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service in both one-on-one and group settings. This may include gathering requirements and providing information to help resolve the stated need. Provide empathetic and nonjudgmental support to participants, and assist with goal setting. Implement tasks and marketing for the promotion of Franciscan’s health and wellness programs.
