Our Director of Development maintains and grows the donor base for a variety of initiatives at a regional division of Franciscan Alliance Foundation. It’s a job with a lot of hats and one that requires a strong personality to wear them. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Create and execute an annual solicitation strategy of physicians, including, but not limited to employed physician of the hospital and physicians. Work to establish and grow a viable employee giving program across the region; annually evaluate employee giving strategies as part of the overall Foundation team. Devise and execute strategies to ensure effective major gift growth, as well as identify major gift prospects for campaigns and major gifts. Follow protocols for prospect management using the Foundation’s database/fund management system. Manage portfolios of regional corporate donors and physician leaders/donors. Follow database entry best practices, as determined by the Corporate Foundation office. Acquisition and stewardship. Collaborate with the regional Franciscan Alliance Marketing team, to improve awareness of the Foundation. QUALIFICATIONS Associate's Degree - Required Bachelor's Degree - Preferred Master's Degree MBA - Preferred 3 years Fundraising experience with focus in major gifts and capital campaigns - Required 5 years Development, Fundraising, Communications, and/or Public Relations - Required Fundraising generalist background with a record of achievements and demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of development, including, but not limited to, employee campaigns, annual fund, corporate/community giving - Required Demonstrated ability and success in cultivating and soliciting donors for leadership Annual Fund gifts and major gifts - Required TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Up to 20% JOB RANGE: INCENTIVE: EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER It is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.
