WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Send appropriate electronic application(s) and supplemental documents to physicians and allied health providers requesting membership and/or privileges at any of our Franciscan Health hospitals Timely and accurate completion of the primary source verification process for initial appointment and reappointment Ensure an accurate database for all practitioners associated with Franciscan Health and for hospital wide downstream systems Manage all aspects of the primary source verification functions for initial appointment and reappointment by utilizing a comprehensive and technologically driven verification and data management process Ensure evidence of criteria based education and experience is reflective of the current services being sought at each Franciscan entity by conducting a full evaluation of the application to ensure primary source data elements represesnt a complete file and that each provider meets qualification for seeking an affiliation with the facility Electronically files documents in accordance with established filing systems in a timely manner Protects permanent records by managing a secure record retention process to safeguard any breach of confidentiality Manages effective communication with each hospital Medical Staff Professional and Franciscan Health facility QUALIFICATIONS Required High School Diploma/GED 2 years Hospital Credentialing Required Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Preferred Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) Preferred TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Never or Rarely JOB RANGE: INCENTIVE: EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER It is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.
