The Vice President, Product Management for CT Corporation plays a key role in driving growth and innovation and is responsible for leading and developing the product management function, ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing improvement of products and services. Given that CT is a service business, this role is responsible for the entire delivery of our offerings, from the digital interactions to the service team touchpoints. This role drives execution of product strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle management, collaborating across functions to maximize customer value, competitive differentiation, and profitable growth. The VP, Product Management champions product excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company vision, brand promise, and financial objectives. This role collaborates closely with the VP of Growth Enablement, who is accountable for defining where we play and why, including defining our segmentation, opportunities, strategy and growth priorities, supported by customer insight, data analysis and market and competitive research. Product Strategy & Planning As the VP of Product for a service business, he/she is responsible for the entire delivery of our Products, from the digital interactions to the service team touchpoints Provides input into company strategy and creates/delivers product plans that align to it Develops and maintains product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs Prioritizes product management and development resources across product development, partnerships, addressing technical debt, and M&A integrations Ensures functional stakeholders have input and are aligned with plans, especially Service & Business Enablement, Fulfillment and Sales 2. Market & Competitor Insights Proactively engages with Growth Enablement, Sales, Marketing and Service to keep up with market and competitor insights Applies market and competitor insights to shape product roadmaps, business cases, and feature prioritization Works closely with Sales and Marketing to apply insights to go-to-market (GTM) activities 3. Customer Insights & Feedback Collaborates with Growth Enablement and other functional teams on market research and data analysis to enhance products and prioritize features Involves customers in product development and incorporates user feedback mechanisms into products and services Runs experiments within products to test enhancements and gathers insights from Sales and Service Builds and maintains a detailed understanding of product and service value drivers, ensuring Product teams do the same 4. Branding & Positioning Ensures products deliver on brand promise and positioning and align with branding and segmentation strategies 5. Innovation & Product Development Champions and drives product innovation, working closely with Growth Enablement to identify and prioritize 1-2 initiatives with big impact Champions use of AI in products and services as well as to improve internal processes and insights Adopts and champions Lean product principles and processes, collaborating closely with DXG Center of Excellence and other stakeholders Creates business cases for new products, product enhancements, and bundles Ensures alignment between teams focused on individual products and those focused on shared resources (e.g., portals, central entity data) Owns execution, including development, launch, and post-launch management, collaborating with Service & Business Enablement, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and other relevant stakeholders 6. Pricing Creates and maintains product/service bundles, aligning with Growth Enablement on pricing strategies and models Tests and implements price changes for individual products and bundles Manages ongoing product-level pricing execution 7. Portfolio Management Provides input on and executes portfolio management actions to optimize product mix and resource allocation 8. Partnerships & M&A Provides input on partnership and M&A feasibility from a product perspective Executes product-level integrations 9. Financial Accountability Supports P&L by providing input on financial goals, investments, and KPI setting Ensures products achieve growth/profitability targets and other defined KPI targets 10. Process Excellence & Team Development Monitors the effectiveness of the product development process and recommends improvements Ensures that the product team and extended team are following best practices and processes Ensures the team continuously learns and increases their expertise in product management, innovation, product development, AI, and other topics critical to launching products and services that maximize profitable growth Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred Minimum of 12 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field, with successful experience at a top technology-driven service business or integrated enterprise software business strongly preferred, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of leading successful product/service offering launches Experience connecting products and services into a suite to streamline workflows, generate new value, e.g. through data insights, and increase share of wallet Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to travel as needed (estimate up to 20%) Preferred Skills Experience as a product leader with examples of successful launches and portfolio management Strong communicator and collaborator, able to both influence others to act and listen/learn from stakeholders Knowledge of Lean product principles, innovation frameworks, and methodologies Familiarity with digital transformation, AI, and change management principles Experience with pricing strategy, go-to-market execution, and customer-centric product development *This role will work in a hybrid capacity (8 days a month) from our New York, NY office* Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
