What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Selector position at C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc.?
Position Overview
A position as an Order Picker is available.
You will be picking orders going to our customers, selecting cases of product from warehouse racks and building pallets of products picked to fill the orders.
The selected person must utilize an Electric Pallet Jack, record daily actions by use of Voice-command, pick sheets and Power-warehouse.
The tasks also include fitting products on a pallet, ensuring heavy products are on the bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
It is required to work to the end of shift and be willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs.
The job requires physical activity including standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift, walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces, frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more.
