Heavy Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician – Training Opportunity

Responsibilities
- Receive comprehensive on-the-job training in heavy equipment preventative maintenance.
- Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Follow maintenance schedules, conduct routine checks, and proactively address issues to reduce downtime.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment (CDL required, tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Work in coordination with team members while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, or willingness to obtain (clean MVR required).
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities.
- Technical certifications a plus.
Physical Demands
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and kneeling on job sites.
- Ability to climb safely in and out of equipment.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, wet, noisy).
- Ability to work around live traffic and on uneven jobsite surfaces.
- Extended sitting periods when operating or driving equipment.
