Job Summary
C.R. Jackson is hiring a Ground Crew Member to work at our asphalt plant. In this role, you’ll help keep the plant running smoothly by doing hands-on work like cleaning, moving materials, and helping with maintenance. You’ll work outdoors, use tools, and support the plant team to make sure we produce high-quality asphalt.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain plant work areas
- Assist with loading materials and keeping the site organized
- Help plant operators and mechanics with daily tasks
- Use hand and power tools to complete basic labor tasks
- Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times
- Be ready to work on weekends and nights when needed
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Experience in construction or plant work (a plus, but not required)
- Able to lift 50–80 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
