Housekeeper's - Billings, MT We are seeking an Assistant Housekeeper to join our team! You will perform a variety of light cleaning and organizing duties. Responsibilities: Clean rooms as guest's checkout Ensure a clean and orderly environment Sterilize various tools and equipment Move reasonably small furniture as necessary Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment Qualifications: Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment Strong attention to detail Strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning Operations: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces, including furniture, lighting fixtures, and carpets.
- Bathroom Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, showers, bathtubs, and sinks, and replacing linen.
- Guest Service: Changing bed linen, making beds, and restocking guest supplies like soap, shampoo, and tissues.
- Public/Care Areas: Cleaning and maintaining public spaces, corridors, and sometimes care home rooms to high hygiene standards.
- Waste Removal: Emptying trash and recycling containers.
- Administrative/Stock Control: Tracking cleaning supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and in some roles, assisting with inventory or room inspections
Requirements and Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, walk, bend, and work on your feet for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all rooms meet quality standards.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with colleagues and reporting to managers.
