Component Repair Avionics Technician

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret aerospace drawings, aviation manuals, test procedures, and applicable standards in accordance with OEM specifications, aviation authorities, and repair station requirements
  • Perform soldering, crimping, splicing, and shield termination to a high standard of quality
  • Operate avionics test equipment with minimal supervision
  • Complete laser marking of wires and assist with the assembly and repair of wire harnesses
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical components, including switches, relays, diodes, and electromechanical devices

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant aviation or technical experience preferred
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is preferred, but not required
  • Prior inspection and/or military experience is considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
