Position Summary
We are seeking a Sputter Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of COLT-48 sputtering equipment and related production systems. This position is responsible for equipment setup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and daily equipment inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspection, setup, and maintenance of COLT-48 sputtering equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to the maintenance schedule.
- Monitor vacuum pressure, gas flow, cooling systems, and other equipment conditions.
- Clean and maintain sputtering chambers, fixtures, shields, and related equipment.
- Respond to equipment alarms and production equipment breakdowns.
- Document equipment problems, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance areas in an organized condition.
- Maintain 5S and a safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and LOTO procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or equipment maintenance experience preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and equipment manuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical & Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work around production equipment.
- Must be able to lift and move tools and equipment components as required.
- Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
