Summary
The Reconditioner is under the direction of the Reconditioner Supervisor and is responsible for cleaning inside and outside of motor coaches and the maintenance facility. Additional responsibilities include fueling and driving coaches within the facility. The Reconditioner should be self-motivated and detail oriented. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Clean interiors of motor coaches by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning seats, dusting, and washing windows, blinds, ledges, and overhead compartments using appropriate equipment
· Clean exterior of motor coaches using power sprayers, brushes, and mobile brush washer
· Refuel motor coaches and check oil and transmission fluid levels
· Clean and disinfect restrooms including toilet, sink, walls, floor, towel dispensers and mirrors
· Empty, clean, and refill motor coach lavatories
· Drive motor coaches within the facility grounds to relocate them when necessary
· Clean and polish sinks, mirrors, and any other chrome areas
· Resupply motor coaches with water, toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizer
· Report damage, malfunctions, and other irregularities of the vehicle to Mechanic and/or Supervisor
· Clean the inside of the facilities by sweeping, vacuuming rungs, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows and mirrors, and cleaning sinks and toilets
· Occasionally work outdoors in all weather conditions
Skills Required
· Detail oriented and capable of consistently upholding high cleaning standards
· Ability to closely follow instructions
· Cooperation to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and co-workers
· Willing and able to obtain a commercial driver's license, Class B
· Ability to reach, bend, stoop, stand for long periods of time, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Education and Experience
· Cleaning experience preferred
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
