What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter Asistant, HVLP Painter position at C&H Facade?
We are looking for reliable, hardworking paint preppers and HVLP painters to support our paint technicians with a few commercial projects. The ideal candidate will help prepare surfaces, mask with paper and plastic, maintain tools, and assist the lead painter in delivering high-quality results. This is an active construction site; hard hat, safety vest, boots, safety glasses and gloves are mandatory!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Clean and prepare surfaces (sanding, scraping, filling holes)
- Carry and organize painting materials and equipment
- Clean tools and maintain a tidy work environment
- Bondo repair
- Follow safety guidelines and instructions from the lead painter or project manager
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to work well with a team and have a positive attitude
- Drug test
- PPE (steel toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and gloves)
- Proficiency in English
- Previous construction or painting experience is an advantage, but not required

This is a 1099 contract position!
Guaranteed 40 hours per week with possible overtime, if approved by the GC.
Starting pay: $20 per hour or more based on experience.
