Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including equipment troubleshooting and electrical system analysis using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade HVAC/R equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct refrigeration system repairs, ensuring optimal operation and safety protocols are followed.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installation or repair projects.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques to troubleshoot complex issues in mechanical systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and building automation systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering solutions that meet clients’ needs.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete reports and documentation for all work performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance.
- Construction experience is highly desirable to facilitate complex installations and upgrades.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, electrical diagnostics, plumbing systems, refrigeration and mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, building automation systems (BAS), and other diagnostic devices.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications related to HVAC/R or boiler operation are a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with HVAC system installation procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating
driver vehicles preferred. - Mechanical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment troubleshooting techniques, appliance repair skills, property maintenance experience are advantageous.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
