Duties

• Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate system setup.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams or property owners to coordinate installations efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and refrigerant handling procedures during system installation.
• Utilize plumbing skills when necessary for proper drainage or water supply connections.
• Operate company vehicles safely as a driver while maintaining a clean driving record; adhere to all safety protocols during field activities.

Experience

• Proven construction experience with familiarity in mechanical systems installation or property maintenance roles.
• Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system equipment using hand tools and diagnostic meters such as voltmeters and gauges.
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, electrical diagnostics, boiler operation, appliance repair, and general equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with electrical systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; EPA certification for refrigerant handling required or obtainable upon hire.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
