This role requires strong communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to interact with visitors and internal staff effectively. This is a part time role.

The Tour Guide is responsible for leading engaging and informative tours, providing visitors with historical and product knowledge while ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to interact with visitors and internal staff effectively. This is a part time role.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled tours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., ensuring an engaging and informative visitor experience.
- Assist with tour scheduling and maintain tour audio systems.
- Ensure visitor compliance with all current safety guidelines.
- Assist with 1833 Shop and GMC activities as needed.
- Support Customer Service and guest relations functions as required.
- General computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Martin Guitar products and history, preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with a pleasant and personable voice and mannerisms.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to engage and 'Wow' visitors.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle repetitive tasks daily.
- Ability to manage conflict professionally and ensure a positive visitor experience.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting tours.
- Frequent interpersonal interactions with visitors and staff.
- Work Hours: Flexible schedule, 10-25 hours per week within 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Temporary, Summer season only
