What You'll Do
CEC is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support DEA HR operations by assisting with staffing, hiring, personnel processing, and benefits-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with staffing, hiring, and onboarding activities
- Support personnel action processing and HR case management
- Maintain and update HR records using automated systems
- Assist with benefits-related documentation
- Track HR actions and workflow status
- Respond to routine HR inquiries
Requirements
- Associate's degree in human resources or related field is preferred
- Four years of experience in Federal Human Resources or related staffing and hiring activities
- Basic knowledge of employment laws
- Experience using Federal HR and office systems (NFC, eOPF, MS Office Suite, USA Staffing, EmpowerHR, eQIP)
- Strong attention to detail
