Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Field Coordinator to join our construction management team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the coordination and execution of field activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with safety and quality standards. Your expertise in construction scheduling, project management software, and civil engineering project management tools will drive efficiency across multiple sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead on-site operations, facilitate communication among teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex construction projects.
Duties
- Coordinate daily field activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications using Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management software.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to streamline workflows and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Monitor construction progress through detailed analysis of plans, schedules, and site reports; adjust project timelines as needed to meet deadlines.
- Assist in developing accurate cost estimates and budget tracking utilizing Excel data analysis and cost management tools.
- Manage documentation related to contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and safety reports to maintain compliance and transparency.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards, safety protocols, and adherence to construction plans; report findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Support project planning by updating schedules, tracking milestones, and preparing progress reports for stakeholders.
