C&C Land Clearing & Excavation is actively hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for residential and commercial earthwork projects.

Responsibilities
- Know how to set grade
- Qualified in blueprint reading
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders)
- Perform grading, trenching, land clearing, and site prep
- Follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Assist crew as needed to keep projects moving
- Maintain a safe and efficient jobsite
Requirements
- 5 years of proven experience and references
- Experience operating heavy equipment (earthwork experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screening (required – we work with Ballad Health)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors
- Experience with finish grading
- Experience working around utilities
Preferred (Not Required)
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
