House Music is looking for a Guitar Technician / Music Sales Associate with a solid foundation in guitar repair, setup, and maintenance who’s ready to grow in a professional shop environment. What You’ll Do
- Perform guitar setups, restrings, adjustments, and basic repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot playability and electronics issues
- Learn advanced repair techniques from experienced luthiers and guitar techs
- Provide excellent customer service by helping musicians find the right gear
- Assist with showroom support, stocking, and register transactions as needed
What You’ll Bring
- Working knowledge of guitar setup, intonation, truss rod adjustments, and general maintenance (beyond personal instruments)
- Comfort using hand tools and a solid understanding of guitar anatomy and electronics
- A musician’s ear and attention to detail
- Reliability, honesty, and a strong desire to keep learning
- A friendly, approachable personality and genuine enjoyment in connecting with players and building a positive music community
