Golf Cart Repair Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and mechanically inclined Golf Cart Repair Technician to join our golf cart rental team. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing golf carts to keep our rental fleet safe, reliable, and ready for customers.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tools, enjoys troubleshooting mechanical problems, and can stay productive with minimal supervision. Previous small-engine repair and basic electrical experience are a plus, but we are also looking for someone with strong mechanical ability who is willing to learn.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on work environment, and daily responsibilities may change based on the needs of the rental operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery service, fluid checks, and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Perform repairs such as brake replacement, suspension work, engine repairs, and electrical diagnostics.
• Replace damaged or worn components, including body parts, seats, and other golf cart components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Test repaired golf carts to verify proper operation and ensure they are safe and ready to return to service.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings.
• Help power wash and prepare golf carts as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading golf carts on semi-trailers as needed.
• Assist with other duties as necessary to support the rental operation.
• Travel and work at events occasionally when needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting equipment.
• Small-engine repair experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ability to safely lift and handle heavy parts and equipment regularly.
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance and represent the company professionally.
• Must be willing to travel and work events occasionally as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
