What You Should Know About The Role:
The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for assisting loan officers in all phases of processing. The processor is responsible for processing and documenting approved loans in accordance with bank policy and regulatory guidelines. This individual communicates with lenders, customers, internal staff, title companies, etc. to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain all necessary documentation required.

Compensation Overview:
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $20.00-$24.00 per hour which reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for candidates who meet the standard qualifications for the role. Actual base pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, experience, and location.

The processor is responsible for processing and documenting approved loans in accordance with bank policy and regulatory guidelines. This individual communicates with lenders, customers, internal staff, title companies, etc. to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain all necessary documentation required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Lenders during all stages of the loan
- Collecting financial information
- Loan advances and payments
- Mail out paid notes, releases and titles on loans that are paid in full
- Prepare and send early loan disclosures (as required)
- Order title work, flood certifications, & UCC filings (as required)
- Order Appraisals, send for review and delivery to lender/client
- Handle floor plan draws and pay downs along with updating report
- Prepare loan documents for loan officers
- Prepare disbursement of funds – wire or cashier’s check
- Prepare loan denials (as directed by loan officer)
- Prepare for the renewal cycle on existing loans
- Load loan & customer data into the ITI system
- Complete maintenance checks on loans loaded in ITI by fellow processors
- Assist with resolving loan non-posts
- Department filing, imaging and tracking (mortgage, release, insurance, etc.)
- HMDA reporting and monitoring
- Pull credit reports on behalf of loan officers
- Be cross trained in Consumer Processing
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent relationship and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents
- Ability to gather and track information
- Proven analytic and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate standard office and bank equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of banking preferred
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
