Job description
Byrne and Jones Construction is seeking a laborer to work at our Asphalt Plant in Greenwood, NE. You will play a key role in our building success. Your skills will be a vital part of a team that is devoted to getting the job done right - on time and on budget. Duties
- Ensure safe operation of asphalt plant and safety of asphalt plant employees
- Operate heavy equipment such as trucks and skid loaders
- Inspect, clean and maintain equipment and machinery.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Responsible for reporting problems and malfunction equipment and/or machinery to supervisor and/or shop personnel.
- May set up and tear down equipment.
- Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day.
- Use equipment and/or an assortment of hand tools
- Perform all other general laborer work as needed.
- Any and all duties assigned.
