We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Bartender/Server to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service both behind the bar and on the restaurant floor. The ideal candidate is comfortable preparing beverages, serving food, handling guest transactions, and assisting wherever needed to ensure a positive dining experience. This is a cross-trained position that requires flexibility and a team-first attitude.
This is a seasonal, part-time position with flexible hours that may increase during peak golf, wedding, banquet, and holiday periods. We are looking for candidates available to work various shifts including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Bartending Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Verify guest identification and comply with all New York State alcohol regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.
Serving Duties
- Greet guests promptly and provide attentive table service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations.
- Process guest payments and ensure accurate checks.
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and table appearance.
Team Responsibilities
- Assist in either bartending or serving roles based on business needs.
- Help with banquet events, golf outings, weddings, and special functions.
- Run food, bus tables, restock supplies, and assist fellow team members as needed.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, hosts, servers, and management.
- Support the overall operation of the restaurant by stepping into different roles when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending and/or serving experience preferred.
- Ability to learn both bar and dining room operations.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, weddings, banquets, and special events.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
