Responsibilities of the Controller:
- Manage & train a team of 4 (1 onsite and 3 remote)
- Record daily financial transactions
- Process AP & AR; prepare and issue checks
- Reconcile bank statements and inter-company accounts
- Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Communicate with both domestic and international team members to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Support special projects and general accounting needs
Requirements for the Controller:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a CPA will also be considered
- At least 5 years of senior-level accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger functions
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Able to work onsite
- Able to work an average of 45 hours per week
