Key characteristics of the ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent collections experience required
- Experience managing delinquent accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and collecting past-due balances
- Strong communication and computer skills

Day to Day Responsibilities
- Resolve customer delinquencies while supporting customers in establishing or re-establishing credit through timely payments
- Achieve delinquency, charge-off, and overall collection goals
- Contact delinquent customers via phone, email, text, or, when necessary, in person to arrange payment
- Accurately document all collection activity using proprietary software
- Utilize computer systems and procedures related to collection activities
- Initiate contact with new customers to establish and build relationships
- Overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and drive win-win outcomes without using high-pressure tactics; provide solutions while holding customers accountable
- Actively listen to customers and recommend appropriate solutions
- Perform basic financial calculations, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
