Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Analyze inventory data using tools such as Power BI and Nielsen to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Manage materials handling processes to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Support e-commerce initiatives by ensuring product availability for online sales.
- Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating their performance based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supplier management practices.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
