Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential homes, commercial facilities, or hospitality environments, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces using appropriate cleaning detergents while adhering to safety guidelines for chemical handling
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards
- Keep all cleaning supplies and equipment organized, sanitized, and in good working condition for optimal performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential housekeeping, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning environments such as hotels or offices
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and outdoor work experience preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Experience in outdoor work settings or outdoor maintenance is a plus
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocols consistently
