Telecommunications Systems Technician is responsible for the maintenance, sustainment, and support of various communication systems and equipment, including High Frequency (HF), Ultra-high Frequency (UHF), and Very-high Frequency (VHF), and associated support components such as antenna systems, cabling, amplifiers, and more. This position requires experience in unclassified and classified communication systems and a strong knowledge of telecommunications services such as phone systems, fax, data networks, video teleconferencing, and satellite phone and radio systems. Additionally, the technician is expected to be familiar with government-specific emergency telecommunications services, including GETS (Government Emergency Telecommunications Service), WPS (Wireless Priority Service), and TSP (Telecommunications Service Priority). This position will also provide back-office support to assist and collaborate on accomplishing the requirements.

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Codan Envoy V2 (HF) and L3Harris (UHF TACSAT/LOS) radio systems.
- Maintain and repair associated support equipment, including antennas, and RF over Fiber systems, cabling, and amplifiers.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of HF and UHF radio systems for secure and non-secure communication.
- Manage unclassified and classified telephone systems, ensuring they are operational and secure.
- Provide maintenance and support for all related hardware and software components.
- Administer and support classified VoIP systems, ensuring secure and efficient voice communication.
- Maintain and support unclassified and classified fax services, ensuring timely and secure transmission of documents.
- Oversee the operation of unclassified and classified data networks, including hardware, software, and network security.
- Maintain and troubleshoot unclassified and classified video teleconferencing systems to ensure seamless communication.
- Manage and sustain satellite phone and radio systems, providing connectivity in remote and challenging environments.
- Facilitate access to government-specific emergency telecommunications services, such as GETS, WPS, and TSP, when necessary.
- Be willing to travel up to 1 week per month from within the United States to support executive telecommunications.
- Be responsible for maintaining telecommunications deployment packages for rapid CONUS travel.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
- Familiarity with HF, UHF, and VHF radio systems, including Codan Envoy V2 and L3Harris.
- Proficiency in unclassified and classified communication systems and associated equipment.
- Knowledge of telecommunications services, including phone systems, VoIP, fax, data networks, video teleconferencing, and satellite (Iridium/Starlink) communications.
- History of solo RTO VIP/Executive telecommunications experience in a frequent/rapid deployment environment.
- Experience handling COMSEC material
- Self-sufficient telecommunications expert capable of providing reliable communications support to federal executives in a high-stress environment.
- Active Top Secret or Q Clearance
