Hard Truth Distilling Co., and its award-winning Sweet Mash rye and bourbon whiskey, is a quickly growing brand. Based out of Indiana we are a grain-to-glass distillery that lives on our 325-acre wooded property. As a destination distillery we get more then 2 million visitors to our property a year. We are continuing to grow other markets, and we are currently in twenty-seven states.
Hard Truth Distilling Co. is seeking to hire a Sales Representative for Illinois and Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of the Hard Truth brands within assigned territory.
- Manage distributor relationships in assigned territory and develop relationships with off and on-premise accounts.
- Partner with Hard Truth National Sales Manager to develop and execute market strategy for assigned territory. Also partner with key account managers to ensure distributor execution of national and regional chain programming.
- Support, work, and ride with distributor reps on a weekly basis to increase brand education and drive sales.
- Participate in brand promotions, tastings, and events.
- Regularly report priorities, market observations, and results. Maintain calendar of market activities.
- Complete special projects when needed, such as pricing, distribution, or other tasks.

Skills/Experience:
- 3 years of alcohol sales experience required. Experience working in assigned territory in a relevant capacity.
- Must live in assigned territory. Out-of-state travel can be required. Weekend availability will be required.
- Experience using social media platforms to drive brand initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must have great organizational skills. Flexibility and ability to manage time to achieve deadlines.
- Clean motor vehicle report and reliable transportation.
