What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at BWM Construction, LLC?
About the Position/Job:
We are a well-established commercial construction firm located in Voorhees, NJ and we are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator/Project Coordinator to offer office and clerical support to the Estimating and Project Management Departments.
Experience in the construction industry is desired, but we will consider someone with exemplary organizational skills and proven office experience in other industries. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Applicants should please consider the following:
· This position will be a split of Project Coordinator duties such as processing submittals, meeting minutes, document control, etc. and Estimating duties like setting up new projects, sending/tracking invitations to bid and managing project in Procore, etc.
· At minimum, candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and understand how to navigate file locations and drives on a basic computer
· Must be able to work independently and eager to work
· Must be comfortable on the phone with subcontractors and clients
· Must be organized and able to juggle many tasks at once
· Previous construction office experience and general knowledge of construction industry terms and software programs is a plus, but not required
· Procore experience is a plus, but not required
