Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Support team efforts by assisting with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and moving throughout the property.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices or housekeeping management is a plus.
