BW Blacksmith Grill House is seeking a reliable and passionate Baker to join our kitchen team. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating high-quality baked goods from scratch and takes pride in consistency, presentation, and attention to detail.
As our Baker, you'll be responsible for preparing fresh baked goods each day, ensuring products are ready for service, maintaining quality standards, and helping create an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of fresh baked goods including cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, breads, desserts, and seasonal specialties.
- Follow recipes and production schedules while maintaining consistency.
- Measure, mix, bake, decorate, and finish bakery items.
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and notify management of supply needs.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed.
- Keep the bakery and prep areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal bakery features.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous baking or pastry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Weekend availability preferred.
