About This Role
BVS, a Reggio-inspired Early Enrichment Center, seeks an exceptional Preschool Teacher to join our team. Our program values the natural world, and we enjoy time outdoors and natural items in the classroom. We prioritize partnerships with families and the community, and our center provides a home-like feeling. Our Preschool program runs from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, allowing staff to work 40 hours per week. We're looking for someone to foster a child-centered curriculum, model caring relationships, and support children's growth and development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Early Childhood Education, be (or become) teacher-qualified, respect the role of families, and value a nature-inspired philosophy.

What You'll Do
Encourage children's participation in curriculum activities and engage in meaningful learning experiences.
Maintain a well-organized and inviting classroom environment, ensuring materials are accessible and clean.
Regularly communicate with parents through progress reports and informal discussions, keeping them informed of their child's growth and development.
Model healthy habits and self-care practices to promote children's well-being.
Ensure a smooth daily transition for children from home to the child care center.
Adhere to all center policies and state regulations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our children.
Develop a personal professional development plan to continuously improve and enhance your teaching practices.
Requirements
- CDA, Associate's Degree or Equivalent, and Lead Teacher Qualified in the state of NH.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
- High energy and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as basic computer skills.
- A deep understanding of child development principles.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Current Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Pass a full background check.
- Pass a health screening.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working in a Preschool setting.
- Knowledge of NAEYC, The Pyramid Model, and NH CCLU principles.
- Familiarity with a Reggio Approach to Early Childhood Education.
