Job Overview

Seeking a highly autonomous, tech-savvy professional with at least 5 years of corporate accounting experience to manage comprehensive accounting functions. The candidate should be capable of handling month-end closes, financial reporting, cash reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings. Flexibility for remote work and adaptability to a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Proven proficiency in financial modeling
• Skilled with Intuit QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Adept at working with digital environments and software
• Self-starter capable of working independently without extensive support staff
• Capable of managing shifting priorities in a dynamic setting
  
  

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

• 5 years in a corporate accounting role
• Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll management
• Familiarity with state and local tax filings, and 409A valuation processes
• Experience with financial audits and tax preparation
  
  

Responsibilities (Selected Highlights)

• Oversee timely and accurate month-end closes and reporting
• Track cash flows daily and reconcile statements regularly
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including collections and customer payments
• Lead payroll management, including bonuses, commissions, PTO, and reimbursements
• Ensure compliance with state registration and tax filings
• Support financial audits and tax filings with accurate reports
  
  

Work Environment

• Full-time, potentially exceeding 40 hours/week
• Hybrid work from home and office; travel may be required
