Location: Westland, MI (On-Site Only)
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time Contractor (1099)
Compensation: $17–$19/hr depending on experience
PodLab Studios is Detroit’s premium creative factory for podcasters, brands, and influencers. We produce high-end podcasts, cinematic social content, and branded video experiences from our themed studio spaces under one roof. We are fast, fun, and built for creative energy.
We are looking for someone who can help keep the chaos organized and the creativity flowing.
The Creative Operations Coordinator keeps the heartbeat of the studio running smoothly. You will work directly with the founder to manage schedules, track projects, coordinate shoots, and keep clients and creatives aligned. This is not a corporate desk job. It is part admin and part creative air-traffic control.
- Managing studio bookings, calendars, and client communications
- Coordinating between production, editing, and creative teams
- Keeping projects organized in ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms
- Preparing sets, assets, and materials before shoots
- Handling client follow-ups, invoices, and delivery timelines
- Assisting with creative tasks such as social media posts, Canva templates, and file uploads
- Are highly organized, detail-driven, and dependable
- Thrive in creative environments where things move fast
- Have experience in a marketing agency, production studio, or similar setting
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients
- Have strong Google Workspace and project management skills (ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com preferred)
- Bonus: know Canva, Adobe, or basic social media management
