The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and running the entire sales cycle. They will drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing businesses with direct clients. Working closely with internal and external partners to drive new business and interact with new and current clients, gain referrals from them, and form strong trusted relationships that open doors and close deals. Leveraging a Transactional Volume exceeding $50B , we benchmark clients' procurement information against industry standards, guiding them in answering critical procurement questions and achieving purchasing and savings goals with precision. This position is remotely based with clients with travel expectations approximately 25%. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.Your impact:Identify new sales opportunities across key channels to increase sales volumeSell into C-level, VP, and Director level suite Apply InsideTrack's sales process methodology, solution selling, to drive new direct and cross-sell opportunities with InsideTrack portfolio companiesLead customer engagement from lead generation to deal review, negotiation, and closingCreate compelling proposals, generate sales, and drive revenuePlan and manage sales performance, forecasting, and revenue generationUnderstand the foodservice market needs, supply chain and SaaS technology mechanicsAchieve short- and long-term sales growth by increasing cross selling activities within existing and new accountsDevelop and maintain opportunity pipeline in SalesforceMaintain high-level understanding of InsideTrack, portfolio companies and competitive solutionsWork with Marketing Team to support industry marketing programs for brand development, market awareness, positioning, and demand generationWork with implementation team for pre-sale supportWork with internal sales solution consultantsUse detailed, comprehensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and support prospect/customer strategies and advise and support team members and project partnersAbout you: 5 years of experience in business development, relationship building & advanced closure, and driving sales in a solution-selling environment at the C-suite levelThe role requires someone who can work independently to manage their quota and sales pipeline growthMust have hunter experience with advanced close capabilities (backed up by resume)Experience in working in team environment, knowing when to collaborate with marketing, implementation, account management and solution consultantsAbility to craft and position business results-oriented proposalsAbility to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customer's business needsStrong communication skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topicsMust be proficient in SalesforceMust be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Online MeetingsMust understand to how to work on contracts with in-house legalMust know how to negotiate deals, contracts, and service levelsKnowledge of sales pipeline management, and sales and revenue quotasValid and unrestricted driver's license with the ability to rent a carDon't meet every requirement mentioned here?
