The Business Development Director identifies, pursues, and secures new business opportunities, particularly with chain restaurant clients, to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within the food service industry across North America. They are responsible for sales strategy development, client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation. This person will help to drive our market expansion, reach new and existing produce foodservice operators, and build new growth.Who we are:At Consolidated Concepts, we're redefining cost reduction and profit optimization. We take pride in supporting a diverse array of clients, ranging from the pioneers of emerging concepts to the established titans of national franchise brands.Your impact:Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings, conduct intro/follow-up calls and hold face to face meetings, and produce paperwork for signatureSchedule and run webinarsResearch prospective accounts in targeted markets; identify, pursue, and qualify good, new leadsFollow through to a successful agreementUnderstand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clientsIncrease the value of current customers while attracting new onesFind and develop new markets and improve salesAttend conferences, meetings, and industry eventsCollaborate with support and sales teams to ensure that requirements are metMaintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assignedDevelop quotes and proposals for clientsDevelop goals and ensure they are metMajor focus will be new business for all sectors of the platformKeeps all potential and current client/lead information current using CRM.Makes sure sufficient research is done before engagingTakes potential new clients through paperwork, in an effort to expedite the close; organize and submit paperworkAbout you:3 years of Restaurant/foodservice sales experienceAbility to travel at least 25% of the timePossess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioningEfficient, detail oriented, and well organizedHave strong communication and relationship management skillsExcel in explaining complex information in ways that are easy to understandWant to be part of a small team that's motivated by helping others and serving the best interests of our clientsLike to work hard and have a thirst for knowledge with a "do what it takes" attitudeAre flexible and thrive in fast-paced work environmentsAspire to a successful career in the foodservice industryCrave an environment where you can develop professionally and personallyValid and unrestricted driver's licenseNot sure you meet every qualification?
