Responsibilities
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for children
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children
- Maintain open communication with parents about their child's day
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diapering as needed
- Keep the childcare areas clean, organized, and sanitized
Experience
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development and early education principles
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and educational activities
- Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- Experience babysitting or working in a daycare environment is beneficial
