PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant (Payroll Focus) – Onsite
Location: Oakland, CA (5 days onsite – no remote)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Client: Oracle (via partners)
Role Snapshot
Hands-on PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant needed to support a live production environment.
Primary focus: Payroll stability, production support, and PUM upgrades.
If you don’t have strong Payroll support experience, this role is not a fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Production support for PeopleSoft HCM & Payroll
- Functional configuration across HCM modules
- Support Payroll processing (including year-end)
- Work on PUM upgrades (impact analysis, testing, deployment)
- Support Commitment Accounting and data accuracy
- Translate requirements → functional specs
- Execute SIT/UAT testing
- Support HCM–Finance integrations
- Partner with HR & Payroll teams for system stability
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- 7 years PeopleSoft HCM Functional experience
- Strong Payroll processing & support experience
- Experience in production support environments
- Hands-on PUM upgrade experience
- Able to work 100% onsite in Oakland, CA
