Position Overview
Butterworth Industries is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to lead and coordinate all maintenance activities within our 24/7 manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting efficient production across multiple shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team across all shifts
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, including sewing machines, automated cutters, and facility systems
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Maintain equipment records, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory
- Collaborate with production leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment efficiency and reliability
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Qualifications
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong HVAC, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial sewing equipment, automated cutting systems, or similar machinery is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
