Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and cocktails
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation, food handling, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Engage with customers to promote sales, answer questions about menu items, and create a friendly atmosphere
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or bartender in a fast-paced café or food service environment
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous
