Installation Technician

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE: 

Butte Fence is looking for a Full-Time Installer to join our local team here in Meridian, ID! This position will install various   fencing throughout the valley. This person plays a vital role with installing and assisting the installation crew with completing each project within the assigned deadline.   

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  (Position may include additional functions not listed.)*

• Gather materials from warehouse and maintain an organized system
• Assist installation crew with assigned fence installation projects
• Understand and follow company procedures and act in a safe manner in a manufacturing environment
• Contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of each job location
•  Other duties as assigned

 QUALIFICATIONS: (Required knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, etc.)

• Fence installation experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Ability to communicate with teammates and leaders to achieve installation goals
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s core values: Honesty, Hardworking, Happy, Humble, and Hungry
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently

The following qualifications are mandatory for drivers:

1. Must be 21 years or older
2. Must have clean driving record
3. Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (physical, environmental, travel, etc.)

• Regularly lift and/or move 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs 
• The Installer will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
• The Installer must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
• He/she may at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection.
• This role uses standard hand power tools such as hammer, drill, nail gun, measuring tape, utility knife, and shovel
• Job schedules vary, job sites may require this person to be on the job between 9/11 hours a day
